Hyde Park during the day is full of life. Even on a cold muggy day there is always something going on or people just walking through for no reason. There are people running, playing football, laying down and staring at the sky, working on homework, talking with their friends, etc. The trees are brought to life by the light in the sky and there is not a single part that does not have someone occupying the space. The huge park gives people a place to be themselves and take in the beauty that is around them. During the day people are close to the nature and have a purpose for being there.

However, at night, it is just a park. Barely lit up the people are walking through on a mission to get to one place or another. There may be some groups that sit out in the grass and enjoy the quiet, but that’s what it is. Hyde Park at night is the essence of quiet. It is a thinking place. A place to get to one place from another. It is not the park with the bustling crowd like it is during the day. The difference between day and night in Hyde Park is the aura that is let off. During the day it is full of life and appreciation for the world. In the sunlight it is a place to enjoy life and have no worries. During the night it is a place to contemplate and think about the life that is happening around you.
