Tea Time

This weekend I did one of the most basic things you could do in London. I went to a tea room. I was with two of my friends that had also never been and had the time of my life. I am not much of a tea drinker and for that I was nervous that I would end up looking stupid for not drinking all of the tea; however, I ended up getting the peppermint flavor and loved it. I can now see the appeal of why tea has captured the hearts of the people of London. This has been one of my favorite experiences so far because of the calm feeling I had while being in the room.

The finger foods were delightful. I was not expecting to get full off of this meal, but I was stuffed. We had tiny sandwiches, scones, and desert. The scones were my favorite and I plan on going back to get more. The environment around me was so peaceful because everyone was doing their own thing. We were all different, but all the same. Dressed up on a Sunday afternoon for tea. I felt as if this was something I had to do and I am grateful I did it because I will be going back. It was as if I was a grown woman enjoying tea and time with good friends. Everything about this experience was perfect!
