This past weekend, a group of me and my friends went to play volleyball in Regent Park. We woke up and headed straight to Oxford Circus to go out and buy a volleyball. We then walked from Oxford Circus to Regent park and enjoyed it thoroughly because there were so many Christmas lights up all around the town. Once we got to the park, we thought there were going to be volleyball nets set up because it said so online. But never believe what you read on the internet because that was false. We were disappointed at first, but we just started playing without a net.
The atmosphere was amazing. There was football and rugby being played all around us and people filled up the park. It was such a beautiful day and I am so glad I spent it outside playing volleyball. We played for about two hours and then created our own game similar to rugby. There were basically no rules by the end of it because it got way too complicated. The experience was amazing and I am so thankful for the friends I have met while being here. We got a workout in and some good quality time together on a beautiful day. The trees were all different colors and leaves were falling everywhere. It was a beautiful sight.
