While I have been in London, I have had many surprises with the experiences I have undergone. I think the most prominent one would be the underground. I know it might not make sense, but where I am from public transportation is not popular and is rarely used. Before I came here using the underground was probably what I was most scared for. I was nervous about getting lost and not being able to figure out how to get to places. I tried to learn the operations before I got here, but every time I would become a nervous wreck.
Now, I love it. I never thought that I would love public transportation, but it is so convenient and easy to operate. I was expecting to miss my car, but I never think about it. I was surprised with how easy it was to get to and from places and I am so happy with it. I am now nervous to go home and not have the tube to use. I have such a deep appreciation for the underground for no reason basically except that it is easier than normal. I am also proud of how fast I was able to learn it. One thing that was surprising about in the beginning of using the tube was how expensive it was. I think that is the only bad thing about it, but then you think about how much easier it is than anything else and it is not as bad. I truly do love the tube and everything about it.
