Set: In a living room on Christmas morning with four roommates that are spending the morning together
Alison: Jack, I told you not to put the casserole in until twenty minutes before we sat down for breakfast
Jack: Well, it’s not my fault that you are so anxious about everything being perfect and done at the same time! I just want to open the gifts that you guys got me!
Alison: Even if we ate earlier, we still must wait for Lilly and Toby and we both know that they are going to be late.
Jack: I know that, but still. The food needs to cool anyways.
Alison: Toby! Lily! Get down here! Everything is almost ready!
Toby: I am coming, I’m coming!
Lily: I’ll be down in a second! Don’t start without me!
Alison: Finally! The table is set, and we need to eat!
Jack: Bring the gifts to the table! I cannot wait any longer!
Lily: I’m grabbing them! Toby come help!
Scene 2: Sitting at the table dishing up the food.
Toby: Let’s all go around the table and say what we are most thankful for!
Jack: Okay I will go first. Today especially, I am thankful to be here in this flat with my three best friends. I don’t know where I would be without you guys, and we get to experience London together! Now lily.
Lily: Okay! I want to say thank you guys for welcoming me into this little group that started in primary school. You will forever be my best friends and we all deserve the world! Thank you for the gifts as well!
Alison: Okay I will go next! I am thankful for regent’s park and all the picnics we go on together during the summer! I also am thankful that we all get along and never have to fight about anything! I hope you guys like my gifts!
Toby: I am going to cry. You guys are here till the end. We got so lucky to meet each other and stay friends this long. Cheers to many more years and Merry Christmas my friends!
